Setting the scene for a beautiful home
We believe that perfect finishing makes a house a home. That’s why when we got the opportunity to use our superior range of products to redo renowned actress, Pearl Thusi’s home we jumped at the opportunity. Her double-story townhouse in Sunset Acres, Sandton was the perfect canvas for our exclusive bathroom and tile products to spruce up her home.
The house consists of two bathrooms, a dressing area, three bedrooms, a passage, and a downstairs balcony which we had the opportunity to redo using our wide range of products. We used premium tiles, taps, bathroom-, and sanitaryware to create a tranquil and stylish finish for her and her family.
Beautiful bathrooms
A bathroom should be relaxing with a clean finish to have both an inviting and sterile space. This could be difficult to juggle as not all finishings can cater to both. For the guest bathroom, we focused on making it sleek and inviting by using polished grey wall tiles to make the room light and cheerful. Pearl being in the public eye requires a bathroom that meets her standards. From bath to vanity and mirrors, she needs something that will be both functional and relaxing. A freestanding bathtub is highly in fashion right now, and a perfect finish makes it beautiful and a place where Pearl and her family can enjoy.
For the Main Bedroom Ensuite bathroom with shower only we kept to the same
bathroom design but due to limited space we kept It simple by featuring only the essentials like the White Glass Geberit Monolith with a Flavio Valeri II back-to-wall toilet and a 900mm hexagon custom frameless shower with an A-Flo showerhead, arm, and Daniel Infinity shower mixer.
For the Powder room, we kept the original White vanity and countertop and finished it with two Fayiz Countertop basins with two matching Daniel Infinity basin mixers.

Whether it’s to entertain or just relax, a balcony adds an invaluable experience to your home. They can be tricky to decorate and we wanted to keep this space open and enticing with 20X120 EC. Kootenai Taupe floor tiles. This creates a neat outside space to relax. The taupe colour gives a warm feel to the space and gives you a taste of being outside.
